Using Large Textures
Graphic textures are made to spice things up for web designing, print designs, different effects and manipulations. In this tutorial, you will learn
the simple and basic way of how to use a graphic texture on pictures and what they will look like afterwards. Let's start, shall we?
First, choose a picture/photo that you would like to use a texture on. For me, I will be using this video capture I screenshotted myself from a 2PM
YouTube music video.
Now see how the picture is normal colored and plain with black around the 2PM members?
Pick a texture or as many as you want. I am going to use this 1 texture that I made myself, to decorate the picture above that I picked. You may feel free to use as many textures as you want,
but don't force it too much that it looks like chaos.
Now, select the first texture you want to use first and place it over the picture like this:
Choose any layer option you think fits best. If you don't like the result of it after you place on the other textures, you may go back to change the option to whatever you like.
Now that you're satisfied with your first layer of texture, repeat the 2 previous steps if you're using more than 1 textures: Place over picture & optionize layer. This is what
I did with the texture.
Here's another example of what something can look like if you use a different option. I picked "screen" for this one.
